Today was my second time in the OB, but I don't remember the first time... My cousin, Meagan went in at noon to be induced. I went in to say hi and then the nurse came. She had some fun questions and suggestions, so I bid Meagan a good time and left to wait outside for the arrival of Liam Malcolm Rushing.
Father and I didn't stay the whole time because it was getting close to the end of visiting hours, but we got to eat in the cafeteria and watch big teethed fish on the National Geographic channel during our time there.
Liam arrived at 9:40 to one excited pair of parents and one excited pair of grandparents who I'm sure are spreading the news at this very moment. I haven't seen him yet, but I'm sure he looks like most newborns. I will have pictures up as soon as they are available.

- This spring, I am in Charleston, OR on Coos Bay with one of my favorite professors, Dr. Braithwaite, 11 other students and two TAs. We're here to study Marine Ecology, Marine Developmental Biology and for 3 credit hours of research. It's been my favorite Oregon trip ever, so far! I'll keep you posted.
